MANITOU TO BREAK GROUND ON MADISON EXPANSION
Construction to start on 80,000 square foot addition of production space
MADISON, S.D. – Manitou Group is breaking ground on an expansion that will invest over $80 million into two manufacturing plants in South Dakota. The expansion in Madison will add 80,000 square feet of production space which will bring the need for 50 more jobs.
Skid steers and track loaders are manufactured in the Madison facility. The expansion will include the modernization of industrial equipment. The equipment upgrading relates to mechanical welding and assembly, with the notable additions of new welding robots and laser cutting machines.
A social will follow the groundbreaking in the Exhibit Room.
