First Bank & Trust Receives Naming Rights to First Bank & Trust SportsPlex

MADISON, SD, Sept. 1, 2023 – First Bank & Trust (FBT) and FirstLine Funding Group (FFG) in Madison is pleased to announce their partnership with the Lake Area Improvement Corporation for a sponsorship and exclusive naming rights for the First Bank & Trust SportsPlex.

First Bank & Trust and FirstLine Funding Group’s sponsorship investment will be used for several upgrades, repairs, and additions to the existing site with a goal to open in January of 2024. Some of those improvements will include a complete remodel of the existing structure, which contains just over 13,400 of square feet. The SportsPlex, located at 535 N.E. 3rd Street, will house new batting cages, an archery range, a golf hitting bay, and a designated agility practice space.

“The SportsPlex will be an important activity hub for Madison, the surrounding communities, and their families,” said Mike Kane, Community Bank President of First Bank & Trust, Madison. “When we first learned of the need for a facility like this in our community, and the possibility of offering additional support through the naming rights, we were immediately drawn to the idea.”

Lori Gustaf, President of FirstLine Funding Group, echoes that same vision of their First Bank & Trust partners. “Being able to support projects like the SportsPlex is not just an investment in individuals, but a testament to the power and potential of Madison and the surrounding communities.”
