Do you want to learn to speak English? Is communicating with your employer and children’s teachers difficult?
Join the Madison Community English as a Second Language (ESL) program. This class is for anyone who wants to learn English. We have a beginner and an advanced class.
Classes begin on September 19, 2017 and will be every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Madison High School, 800 NE 9th Street. Childcare is provided.
The class will focus on:
Helping you in your day to day activities (work, doctors, banks, stores)
Helping you prepare for job interviews
Helping you speak to your children’s teachers
Helping you read and write English
The environment will focus on respect and safety, so you will feel comfortable learning. Costs are affordable at $25 for the entire program. In some instances, this may be paid by your employer.
