On April 9, Dakota State University will be hosting David O'Sullivan, the European Union
ambassador to the United States. He will meet with faculty, staff and honor students throughout the
afternoon; media and community members are invited to attend a public forum at 5:30 p.m. in the
Tunheim Classroom Building Auditorium.
"International collaborations have always been important for a vibrant university culture," said DSU
President Jose-Marie Griffiths. "We are pleased to bring the world to DSU and DSU to the world."
O'Sullivan was appointed ambassador and head of the European Union (EU) delegation to the United
States in 2014. As the EU's top diplomat to the U.S., he oversees the bilateral relationship with the
U.S. and the direction and work of the EU Delegation, including political economic and commercial
affairs.
Guest parking will be available in the Karl Mundt Library parking lot, at the corner of Egan Avenue
and N.E. 8th Street.
