Prostrollo Auto Mall

"Prostrollo Auto Mall started in Madison in 1957. In 1991 they built a new 44,000 square foot building on 11 acres in the SE corner of Madison. Prostrollo’s offers the entire line of automobiles from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Ford, Lincoln and Mercury. They have a state of the art service department and body shop in addition to sales, and leasing. Prostrollo Auto Mall employs 70 full time and 25 part time employees. Pat Prostrollo’s son Nicholas is currently involved and is the 3rd generation of the Prostrollo family at the dealership.

Heartland Consumers Power District

Rosebud Cabinetry and Lodging Furniture

“Rosebud Cabinetry and Lodging Furniture started in 1965, moved to downtown Madison in 1972, and remained there until 2008 with a move to a 50,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility on the southeast side of Madison in the Lake View Industrial Park. Madison’s business and manufacturing-friendly atmosphere has afforded us the ability to flourish and expand into several different cabinet lines with 26 door styles in nine different wood species and finish options. Madison Community Hospital

Bethel Lutheran Home

“Bethel Lutheran Home opened in 1962 providing basic nursing home care to its 59 residents. East River Electric Power Cooperative

"East River Electric Power Cooperative was formed in 1949 in Sioux Falls, S.D. and established its headquarters in Madison, S.D. in 1950. East River is a wholesale electric power supply cooperative serving 24 rural electric cooperatives and one municipally-owned electric system, which in turn serve more than 92,000 homes and businesses and about 250,000 consumers. Each day, we live by our mission statement of enhancing the value of these members.
