Madison Community ESL (English as a Second Language) Classes
Do you want to learn to speak English? Is communicating with your employer or your children’s teachers difficult?
Join the Madison Community English as a Second Language (ESL) program. We have beginning and advanced classes for anyone who wants to learn English.
Classes begin on January 9, 2018 and will be every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Madison High School, 800 NE 9th Street. Childcare is provided.
The class will focus on:
- Daily communication (work, doctors, banks, stores)
- Communication with co-workers
- Speaking with your children’s teachers
- Helping you read and write English
Feel comfortable learning English in a respectful and relaxed environment. The spring session runs from January 9 to April 26. The registration fee is $25 for the entire program. In some instances, the registration fee may be paid by your employer.
